The 1939 Chev Club was formed in 2005 by Vic and Kylie Smithers.We are dedicated to raising money for NRMA Careflight who are based at Westmead ( Behind Childrens Hospital at Westmead).

We hold a number of car shows across Sydney to raise money and awareness for this Charity and have even travelled up to Gwandalan ( Shore of Lake Macquarie ) to help a school with some fundraising.All proceeds from these events is dividied between them.

With our car shows we make them an event for the whole family to enjoy, We have Market Stalls, Live Entertainment and kids entertainment. We have a raffle with prizes ranging from Magazine Subscriptions  to Car Care Packs and Balloon Rides to V8 Hotlaps.

Back in 2007, the 1939 Chev Club were involved in the fight to save Careflight, Over 9 weekends we took to the streets of the local area with a petition and were able to collect over 9,000 signatures. After all the hard work Careflight signed a 9 year contract. We would like to thank everyone that helped and most of all to all the people who signed the petition.
